Abstract

In this study, woody biomass combustion ash was modified by applying the flotation beneficiation method and its potential use as a concrete admixture was investigated. As a result of each test, the surface appearance, particle size distribution, and chemical composition of the woody biomass combustion ash became similar to those of FA-R by the modification. Furthermore, when the ash was used as a concrete admixture and its activity was measured, the modified woody biomass combustion ash was preferable to FA-R.
