Places of lodging or temporary residence which are commonly called dormitories are intended for members of a group, usually for students. The comfort level felt by users in a building can be determined by the achievement goals of the building. In addition, the building is intended to meet the needs of space for humans. Furthermore, the building must also provide comfort for its users. Thus, the circulation in the building must be considered. The circulation itself is transferring access from one place to another. So, circulation as a movement path functions to connect spaces in a building, both inside and outside spaces. The facilities and services of a building can be achieved by fulfilling the comfortable circulation. This paper takes the International Student House in Kitakyushu, Japan as the research object. This study aims to find out student perceptions of the comfortable circulation in the Foreigner Dormitories building at the International Student House. Data collection through a questionnaire using a qualitative method will be distributed to students staying in dormitories. The results obtained at the end of this study indicated that most students were "Satisfied" with all performance items, and in this study, the average overall satisfaction level was 3.13. This study expects to help architects and building management in designing or planning facilities and services in the International Student House building. Besides, that can be used as a reference or benchmark for further research studies.Downloads
