jailcd2023039: Research on the Design of Bus Stops in Shenyang under the Perspective of Regional Culture

Abstract

With the rapid development of cities, it has gradually become a consensus to give priority to the development of public transportation, improve the quality of public transportation facilities, and promote green travel to help low-carbon life. Bus stop kiosks are traffic facilities providing waiting services in the public transportation system, and they are activity spaces closely related to people's lives, as well as an important carrier for promoting urban culture. In this paper, we use  Design Research Methodology to understand the current situation of bus shelters in Shenyang city and the needs of citizens through questionnaires. From the perspective of regional culture, we explore the design strategies of bus shelters with Regional Cultural Features through the specific design of bus shelters in Shenyang city to improve the waiting experience of passengers, so as to promote the willingness of citizens to travel by public transportation and promote the change of travel mode to green travel.
