Abstract

The larger the scale of urban and rural construction, the higher the degree of isolation between humans and nature, which is a problem in our construction thinking. Drawing on the Chinese classical gardens that are integrated with nature, and through the design concepts and techniques of "urban mountains and forests" and "landscape architecture," our construction is combined with nature to meet people's needs of "expressing feelings for mountains and rivers." The primary purpose of this paper is to use the principles of Chinese classical gardens for urban and rural construction and find solutions with Chinese characteristics that conform to the traditional Chinese view of nature and value orientation. Through the analysis and study of specific cases of landscape architecture practice, find a spiritual and systematic design method that can be applied to the design and construction of contemporary landscape architecture in an operable and exemplary manner. It is suitable for practitioners of landscape architecture and architecture to improve their cognition and ability in the design and construction of landscape architecture. It can be widely applied to broader urban and rural construction.
