Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the significance of international advanced zero-energy building technologies in the renewal and transformation of old community buildings in Qingdao. Through literature review and case study analysis, it firstly introduces the development trend and characteristics of international zero-energy building technologies, including innovations in high-efficiency energy utilization, intelligent building control systems, and renewable energy applications. Secondly, the current problems and challenges
that need to be solved, such as high energy consumption, building aging, and environmental pollution, are analyzed in light of the actual situation of Qingdao's old communities. On this basis, suggestions are made for upgrading and renovation using international zero-energy building technologies, including measures such as improving building insulation materials, optimizing energy use structure, and introducing intelligent monitoring systems. Finally, the feasibility and sustainability of international zero-energy building technologies in the renewal and renovation of old community buildings in Qingdao are verified through case comparison and benefit assessment, providing new ideas and experiences for sustainable urban development. The research results of this thesis will help to promote the pace of renewal and renovation of old community buildings in Qingdao, and facilitate the development of urban construction in the direction of more environmental protection and energy saving.
