Abstract

Nowadays, with the proposal of sustainable development and building stock improvment, industrial heritage renewal has received widespread attention. Research on industrial heritage is still on rise, but the characteristics of current research are still not clear. This paper adopts Citespace, the bibliometric analysis tool, to the data base of CNKI and WOS. Industrial heritage related literature published in the last 20 years are selected, and the research are carried out on the aspects of the author, institution, keywords by knowledge mapping analysis. The research status and future trends of industrial building heritage renewal are intuitively analyzed by visualization results. The development stage of industrial heritage is proposed. It’s mainly found that differences exist in the research direction of industrial building heritage at home and abroad: foreign countries is changing the direction of protection to adaptive protection, while that of the domestic is about more protective protection. Second, the industrial heritage renewal research hotspots can be divided into: heritage protection and the process of the three lines of work, the synergy of industrial building heritage and multidisciplinary, and heritage protection with the association of regional architecture. Third, the protection object is focused more on ancient villages and ancient buildings, and there is a lack of protection and translation for industrial heritage. This paper intend to sort out the current situation and the development shortage, and provide certain references for industrial building heritage renewal study in the future.
