Abstract

This article studies domestic and foreign cases of the existing maritime architecture, the imagination of maritime architecture, and the development
process of maritime architecture. It is found that it is possible to establish urban functional spaces such as housing, commercial and cultural spaces on the sea. It can also effectively utilize marine resources, such as wind energy and tidal energy, to achieve sustainable use of energy. In addition, the development of offshore buildings also involves urban planning, construction engineering technology, ecological environment protection and other aspects, providing diversified solutions for sustainable urban development. In summary, through a comprehensive analysis of the development of maritime buildings, this article believes that extending urban sustainable development to the ocean is a development direction with broad prospects.
