The complexity of design process and climate issues for architecture students often leaves behind design issues that are less responsive to the local environment. The design recommendations somehow lack of quantitative approaches, which are unable to achieve optimal building performance. This paper intends to provide an overview of climate analysis on the architectural design process undertaken by architecture students by using a simple simulation. LSS Chronolux is simple plugin application of SketchUp which has interactivereal-time process of designing, designing and analyzing the quality of microclimate can be done in parallel. In this article, we will compile LSS Chronolux with onsite survey results. So it will be seen that LSS Chronolux has a good correlation of significance with field measurement results, and can be used as a tool of microclimate quality assessment in a fast and simple. The method is quantitative, observation and data collection using thermo recorder TR-14 tool which has done in FPTK Building (Faculty of Education Technology and
Vocational) UPI, Bandung, Indonesia. The measurement conducted on 27 March 2017 and interval data is 15 minutes during 06.00 - 18.00. Onsite measurement to find the interval of Ta and Tmrt and compare with the duration of solar exposure within the site.
