Today, as urbanization grows. The villages gradually lost their cultural identity as well as the nature of the village. Therefore, it is necessary to preserve and develop traditional craft villages. Hanoi has 17 traditional craft village, with Bat Trang village being one of Gia Lam Province producing and exporting pottery. In Bat Trang, there are many valuable architecture such as ancient kilns, ancient houses of pottery artists com-bined with workships, historical and religious architecture, etc. these architectures shall be well conserved and developed to become tourism facilities. The first at all, we will settle the problem about balance: Balancing tourism benefits with community and local entrepreneurs’ benefits. Ecology: Forming tourism types based on exploitation and conservation of water-plantscape and environment. Humanity: Conservation and improve cultural and his-torical value of the handicraft village as well as local pottery professional association. Finally, The Bat Trang planning, the conservation and maintenance of historical values in the ancient village are necessary.
