Abstract

Industrial heritage is an inherent outcome of urban renewal and development. During its transformation, a comprehensive consideration from various perspectives becomes imperative. The outdoor thermal environment of buildings plays a pivotal role in influencing people's quality of life, making it a crucial aspect to address in the context of urban renewal. This paper focuses on the meticulous collection of environmental climate data at specific points within the Shihezi West Industrial Zone, encompassing four factories. Preliminary analyses, particularly focusing on temperature and humidity, are conducted to identify key factors affecting these parameters through a comparative approach. Optimization strategies are subsequently proposed, taking into account factors such as sub-bedding materials, vegetation coverage, spatial morphology of buildings, and water bodies. The anticipated outcomes of this study aim to establish an effective database and provide optimization directions for both academic research and practical engineering applications in related fields. Ultimately, this research endeavors to contribute to the enhancement of human living quality and environmental conditions.
