There is a large number of historical and cultural deficiencies in urban renewal in the northwest region, which only values the form of architectural renovation and neglects the content of renewal. The traditional concept of organic renewal cannot fully meet the needs of current social development. This article takes the "Pingluo County Gulou North Street Facade Renovation Project" as an example, and discusses the implementation path and difficulties of the new
era organic renewal concept in the renovation project of historical and cultural blocks, combined with other relevant historical block renovations in Pingluo County. Provide suggestions for the smooth implementation of the renovation project of historical blocks with similar social characteristics in the northwest region.
