Abstract

This paper summarized the domestic important periodicals, development background and research status of existing residential buildings in China. Researched and analyzed the present situation of domestic and overseas existing residential buildings. This paper researched the energy consumption problems and the serious challenges faced by residential buildings. The feasibility of energy conservation and quality improvement of residential buildings and the technical means used in the process of reducing energy consumption are analyzed and studied. It lays a foundation for future research on energy conservation and function improvement of existing residential buildings.
