Taiwan is a country geographically located on the Pacific Rim of Fire. The existence of this geographical location underlying the possibility of an earthquake that will occur frequently. The earthquake that occurred at the end of the 20th century, the Chi-Chi Earthquake (921), was a disaster that caused major damage. Since October 2017, several or more earthquakes have occurred in Taiwan waters. There are still traumatic and traumatic long-term injuries to several disasters that took place in the Chi-Chi episode (921). Taiwan residents must to preparation to face the earthquake and reduce physical and psychological damage. The existence of an earthquake disaster phenomenon is often not the main focus of response, as disasters are transient and unsustainable, but the effect is not as simple as it can in many ways. Many studies of earthquake experience and magnitude of earthquakes will improve earthquake and seismic capabilities. The study will focus on high potential areas in Nantou County and compare with Changhua County. The method used is to compare post earthquake facilities of various experiences from multiple regions. Facilities here include temporary shelters, medical facilities and ambulances. Finally, the results of this study show the frequency and severity of earthquakes in a region will greatly affect the degree of disaster awareness of local residents and further indirectly affect the community's budget.Downloads
