A soil column device was set up to simulate artifacts-soil coupling conditions in this study. Using 5TE sensor measures conductivity, moisture content and other parameters at different depths, the movement of water and salt at different depths could be studied, and determination of soil salinity at different depths in different types of situations was determined by ion chromatography, to understand the different types of water-solublesalts with migration; X-ray diffraction analysis was used to determine the salt composition on the surface of the artifacts deposited, assessed the destructive effects of soluble salts under coupling conditions relics. Through this experiment, the conclusion could be got, ions transport with water in soil, and different ions have different migration rates and cumulative depth.
