Abstract

Under the influence of college expansion policy at the end of 20th century, university personnel have been oversaturated while the campus has a relative shortage of land resources. Therefore, many colleges and universities choose to set up new campuses or branches campuses in suburban areas. It is obvious that the emergence of these new campuses will create a huge impact on the local villages and the development of new campuses has greatly stimulated the development of the nearby villages. Over time, both of them have become closer in their respective development. Based on this, starting with their relevance and the original reasons for this situation, standing at the perspectives of universities, villages and government, this paper analyzes the strategy of rural development which is relied on the development of university resources, and provide construction suggestions for opening up a new development situation featuring mutual benefit and win-win outcome . It provides a new direction for the development of the similar universities and rural areas in China.
