Abstract

Global warming has now become a major disaster problem, and huge amount of constructional activities have brought serious threat to the environment. The high-rise apartment building is the major building type. Recently, the issue that includes population aging, decreasing birth rate and late marriage have changed family structures, and sustainability provides an opportunity to rethink the usage of buildings and inhabitant behaviors. How to sustainable, resilient and efficient approaches can meet the needs of users for more space changes. Thereby, extending the service life of residential buildings and reducing the burden on the environment and maintaining the safety of building structure, has become the focus of sustained attention to the construction of architecture industry. Many studies have pointed out that the concept of open space can adjust the interior space flexibly in response to changes in the spatial demands of the family life cycle and reduce the damage caused by space adjustment and the amount of waste while reducing the cost of maintenance and equipment construction and equipment pipelines in the past. Conforming to the future living policies and social trends, the concept of open space is diversified, flexible and sustainable has once again received the attention of all circles.
