Abstract

The plateau area of northwest Sichuan is the main settlements of ethnic minorities , which is known as "the second largest Tibetan areas ". The region is rich in solar energy resources , and the annual solar radiation and sunshine hours are the highest in Sichuan Province. But winters to be cold in this region, which is the lowest area of heat in Sichuan. The indoor temperature in the Tibetan farm house is generally low in winter, and the Tibetans can not get enough heat supply in the room, causing the living environment in winter is not ideal. The existing Tibetan farm houses which only use modern materials and forms, although retained the original features of Tibetan architecture, greatly increased the building's energy consumption. In view of the above problems, this paper takes Jiarong Tibetan village in Northwest Sichuan Plateau as the main object of study. Through literature collection, field research and simulation analysis to research the indoor thermal environment of Jiarong Tibetan traditional farms. It proposes a pebble bed thermal storage passive technology system adapted to Tibetan farm houses in northwestern Sichuan plateau to improve the indoor thermal environment.
