Abstract

The patterns of the local microclimate is varied in Hangzhou because of its rich terrain changes and complex urban spatial structure. Choosing winter’s typical weather days in February, 2017 as the measuring time, measured microclimate elements data in the three typical landscape spaces, and collected the declared weather data published by relevant weather departments, at the same time, photographing and recording real-time environmental conditions during the measurement process. This paper was intended to explore the direct relationship between these three different types of landscape spaces and microclimate elements on the basis of the actual measurement and analysis to Wushan Square in Hangzhou. The following results are obtained: 1) The different top covers may have different effects on the air temperature. 2) shelter and plants may have a great impact on relative humidity. 3) The surface temperature values are related to solar radiation
probably. The results of this study will provide a reference for the design and management of the microclimate adaptability of the mountain-type square in Hangzhou, so as to provide a comfortable and efficient recreational environment for the urban residents and tourists.
