jailcd2017010: Pedestrian Way Normalization in Commercial Area(Case Study: Kartini Street, Bandarlampung City)

Abstract

 Pedestrian way should be one of the good facilities for pedestrians that are provided by the govermmentPedestrian way serves for pedestrians to reach one place to another with safely and comfortably. However, thecondition of the pedestian in the city of Bandarlampung, an area of research is still misused by society fimctionsPedestrian not only serves as a pathway for pedestrians but also as illegal parking and street vendors. As a result the condition ot damaged pedestrian becomes dormant and disruptive activity, safety, and comfort of nedestransThis study tried to observe what the factors of misused in pedestrian ways. The study was conducted by descriptive method by collecting data through direct observation and documentation as a result of the observation record. The results of the analysis method is classified into two value, a plus and a minus value that shows the comparison condition pedestrian on the Central Plaza Vall (OP)-Kartini Mall (K) and the Kartini Mall (Kentral Plaza Mall (Copy based on the issues that are of each pedestrian. In this study, the authors expect anathematize arrangement in order to normalize the function of pedestrian path that is safe, convenient, and good support facilities for pedestrians in the city of Bandar Lampung.
