The industry of nature gas in China is developing rapidly during the past 20 years, and the sources of nature gas are quite various which leading to different composition of supplying gas. When the gas composition changes leading to the variety of calorific value, density and combustion characteristics the emission pollution may become worse especially the CO and NOx which are poisonous. As the amount of domestic appliances was very huge in China, the study on emission characteristics is very1mmportant.
This paper studies the emission characteristics of a typical residential natural gas stove with the same time exploring and analyzing the nature gas composition's influencing principles and characteristics on emission of domestic gas stoves. Since the burning process of the civil stoves has always been the method of atmospheric combustion with a quiet complex and difficult-measuring process of air and gas mixing. To facilitate the test, we design and build an experimental platform using four types of gas to complete the study. The concentration of CO and NOx have been measured when the primary air coefficient and loading rate of the stove change individually. Finally, the experimental data are summarized and analyzed so as to obtain the emission characteristics of CO and NOx.
