jailcd2017030: The Urgency of Green Building Regulation through IMB (Permission of Building's Construction) in Bandung City

Abstract

The green building regulation is a new requirements for The llB (Izin Mendirikan Bangunan) or Permission of Building's Construction in Bandung City for whom who will build a building. This study aims to know how much the urgency of green building regulation through lB in Bandung City. The green building has a positive impactor the environment, the Bandung government issued this regulation in 2014 and will be implemented this regulation early 2017. Green building has six categories from Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCl), this research misfocused on Energy Efficiency and Conservation, Water Conservation, Material Resources and Cycle, Indoor Health and Comfort, and Building Environment Management. This paper analyses the urgency of green building regulation for saving the energy in Bandung City and focuses on two critical issues: (1) How to response the climate change with green building (2) Why green building important to response the energy consumption in worldwide. Finally. The urgency of green building regulation through lB or permission of building's construction in Bandung City is important to know for all group in society so the regulation could be an effective solution to response the problem and the environment in Bandung even worldwide can be save.
