Abstract

In late years the introduction of the environmental consideration technologies such as photovoltaic power generation increase in general elementary school. Environmental consideration technologies can be expected to raise awareness of the students about environmental problems. Therefore environmental consideration technologies are demanded to be used by environmental education. However, it is the present conditions that the mechanism of the environmental consideration technologies are out of teachers domain, so these technologies aren’t used for environmental education. In this study, for promoting environmental learning using environmental consideration technologies, development of “the environmental consideration technologies guidebook” and its environmental learning contents were carried out. As for the environmental learning using the guidebook by schoolteachers with our support, the evaluation was high from both students and teachers. However, it was found that it was not easy for only teachers to conduct the environmental learning with the guidebook because of the difficulty of the explanations of technologies and the lack of the teaching plans. From now on, the improvement of these problem points are necessary
