jaue2015061: Research on Bio-sludge Reduction and Resource-oriented Technologies

Abstract

With more and more waste-water treatment plants start to use bio-methods to deal with the waste-water, the emission of the excess sludge is growing rapidly. Improper disposal of biological sludge can cause water pollution, air pollution and soil contamination. In order to alleviate the situation,people focus on the technologies on bio-sludge reduction.Furthermore the recycling of the resources from the excess sludge is being investigated. For example,ozone sludge reduction, anaerobic digestion ,ultrasonic sludge reduction. Through the comparison of the different methods of excess sludge reduction, the future development direction of the bio-sludge reduction technologies and resource recycling can be analyzed.
