jaue2015064: The Research Progress of Critical Nondeposit Velocity in Pipeline of Slurry Transport

Abstract

Critical flow velocity is one of the most important factors in pipeline of slurry transport, there isn't a general formula for computing until now. This paper enumerates several calculation formulas used in practical engineering application, such as Durand, Wasp, FeiXiangJun calculation formula, etc, these formulas are established under certain conditions, scope of application has certain limitations. On the basis of these formula and experimental research, analysis of the main influencing factor of the critical flow velocity, provides the basis for further research on the critical nondeposit velocity in the future.
