jaue2015030: Analysis on the accessibility of green activity space on campus based on spacesyntax-----the case of Yijin Campus of Zhejiang A & F University

Abstract

Accessibility is an important factor which influences the rationality of campus’s layout, the utilization of green activity space, and is related to fair use of infrastructure for different groups. Today, there are plenty of green activity space on campus, and the areas are relatively large. However, due to the outdated facilities, remote location and other problems, a lot of green activity spaces are in low utilization rate, and even some of them, very few people would like go to there to play, which greatly wasted the utilization of public resources. The paper will adopt the Axis analysis method of Space syntax, to quantitatively analyze the space structure of Yijin Campus of Zhejiang A & F University. Calculate the integration value of space syntax to conclude the accessibility of the green activity space, which is hoped to help campus planning.
