jaue20130036: A Study on the Comparison with Green Building Certification for Application of Existingh Buildings: Focused on LEED-EB and G-SEED

Abstract

Many countries are on process to search for saving energy and improving efficiency at many fields. And they are working on the renewable energy as one of way for saving energy. The Korea government is also implementing energy saving plans and various policies. In particular, many studies are underway for energy savings in buildings that energy consumption accounts for 21%. According to its plans, they systematize energy efficiency grade and make a regulation for certification of green buildings. However a bad of this certificates is to apply it only to a new construction not to existed buildings. Thus on this study will mention green buildings certification in other countries and compare it to domestic green buildings certification.
