Abstract

In this study, the effect of water-spraying system on the solar photovoltaic panel was clarified by actual measurement survey for the office building where the actual system had been installed. Besides, the effective methods of dealing with the water-spraying system was examined and the amount of CO2 reduction was calculated by original simulation program. The environmental load, that is, CO2 emission was reduced by spraying water by 4.8 %. The effect has increased to 9.9% for the roof slab without insulation. Power generation efficiency and cooling load reduction by water-spraying system became clear. Consequently, the practical superiority of water₋spraying system was verified quantitatively.
