Abstract

Fly ash is an important solid waste worldwide and one of the important raw materials for the construction industry. Fly ash will also show different properties according to its incinerator type, which is mainly divided into pulverized coal furnace fly ash and circulating fluidized bed furnace fly ash. Fluidized bed furnace fly ash has high volcanic ash properties, but its surface is porous and irregular in shape, and it has low mobility. Pulverized coal furnace fly ash is mostly spherical and has higher mobility, but its volcanic ash activity is weak. The quality of the two types of fly ash is improved by mixing and flotation so that their advantages complement each other. This paper focuses on the mixed flotation of two kinds of fly ash in different ratios. The changes of volcanic ash activity of fly ash extremely fluidity after mixed flotation are studied to provide the basis for the application of fly ash.
