Abstract

Under the premise of global climate change, more than 190 countries around the world have reached the Copenhagen agreement to voluntarily save energy and reduce emissions and vigorously develop a low-carbon economy. As a special unit with dense population and strong social influence, universities are a good platform to promote low-carbon life. Through various publicity methods to guide students to establish the concept of lowcarbon life and form low-carbon living habits, so as to play an exemplary role in the whole society and create a good low-carbon living atmosphere. In addition, universities consume huge energy resources, which is far higher than the average consumption level of society. Therefore, it is imperative to build a low-carbon campus. This paperwill show the low-carbon campus from the two aspects of Universities in Japan and China, to get the correlation and differences between the two.
