JiSMART2021—051: Review on Research and Development of Near-zero Energy Buildings in China

Abstract

The energy consumption of China's construction industry accounts for about 28% of the total energy  consumption, and there is a trend of continuous increase. Near-zero energy buildings are effective measures to alleviate energy shortages and solve socio-economic development and energy supply shortages, effectively reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Due to its ultra-low energy consumption and high thermal comfort, it has received more and more extensive attention from researchers in China's construction industry and related fields. This paper mainly summarizes the current situation of the development and research of near-zero energy buildings in China, and briefly introduces the research, demonstration projects, and standard formulation in the field of near-zero energy buildings in China and looks forward to the future development of zero energy buildings in China.
