JiSMART2021—057: Knowledge Map of Indoor Thermal Environment in Traditional Dwellings: A Bibliometric Analysis Based on CiteSpace and VOSviewer

Abstract

With the development of the times, people's requirements for living quality are constantly improving, and the indoor thermal comfort of traditional dwellings can no longer meet people's needs in some aspects. Under this background, a large number of scholars have begun to study the indoor thermal environment of traditional dwellings and have achieved many results. In this paper, a total of 1387 literatures in WOS core database from 1990 to 2021 are used as retrieval source, and the information visualization software CiteSpace and VOSviewer are used to summarize the current research results and identify the future development ideas in the field of indoor thermal environment of traditional dwellings. The results show that in recent years, the research in this field mainly focuses on the energy saving and emission reduction, optimization and renewal and climate adaptability of traditional dwellings. The follow-up research should be based on the climate and regional diversity of traditional dwellings, strengthen the communication and cooperation between core teams, and promote the cross and integration of research methods between different disciplines, so as to promote the further development of the research on the indoor thermal environment of traditional dwellings
