Abstract

A series of natural disasters triggered by global climate change have endangered the population, ecosystem and built environment of coastal cities. Based on literature research and comparative analysis, the article summarizes the impact of global warming on coastal cities and strategies for building resilient landscapes in coastal cities through the concepts of engineering resilience and ecological resilience, while resilient landscape strategies involve both engineering adaptation resilience and ecological adaptation resilience, with differences in the suitability of different resilience strategies. The results of the study are useful for coastal cities in formulating landscape strategies for timely response and long-term development, and exploring new technologies and methods for resilient landscapes.
