Abstract

According to statistics, 70% of the world's glass curtain wall is in China, and China has become the world's largest manufacturer and user of glass curtain walls. As time went on, more and more glass curtain walls were used, many office and living people in buildings found that this kind of wall will consumes a lot of energy although it seems to make buildings simple and bright, due to the high heat absorption of the glass curtain wall in summer and high heat dissipation in winter.Relevant data show that, the annual average air-conditioning power consumption of a glass curtain wall building whose energy saving design is not well may reach four times as much as a ordinary traditional building. With the development of national economy, building energy efficiency has become the key to sustainable development of the current economy, and the awareness of environmental protection and energy saving of relevant national departments has also been greatly improved. This paper will introduce several common energy saving schemes of glass curtain wall.
