Abstract

Under the premise of global climate change, more than 190 countries around the world have reached the Copenhagen Accord to voluntarily save energy and reduce emissions, and vigorously develop a low-carbon economy. As a special unit with dense population and high social influence, university is a good platform to advocate low-carbon life. Through various propaganda methods, students are guided to establish the concept of low-carbon life and form low-carbon living habits, so as to play a demonstration role in the whole society and create a good atmosphere of low-carbon life. In addition, the university's consumption of energy resources is huge and much higher than the average consumption level of the society. Therefore, it is imperative to build a low-carbon campus. In this paper, we use citespace software to search for low carbon universities as keywords, to analyze the current situation of low carbon campus research obtained, and summarize the development and classification of low carbon universities, finally find the problems and make suggestions.
