Abstract

Energy consumption in the operational phase of public buildings accounts for a significant proportion of total energy consumption, and solar photovoltaic (PV) technology shows excellent energy-saving potential. Although PV roofs are widely used, they are limited by the roof area and the installation scale is limited. In contrast, building facades provide a wider installation space, which can support the layout of PV modules in different orientations and angles and has important research value. Based on this, this paper takes photovoltaic double-skin facade (PV-DSF) as the research object, evaluates its performance under different climatic conditions through a systematic literature review and analysis, and proposes optimization for cold climate zones, subtropical climate zones and hot climate zones. Strategy. The paper also discusses the impact of different operating modes of the PV-DSF system on the indoor thermal environment under seasonal changes and compares the regulating effects of natural ventilation and forced ventilation on the indoor thermal environment, providing a theoretical reference for future research on improving the thermal performance of PV-DSF.
