Abstract

Since the reform and opening up, the economic level of China has been developing continuously, which has brought about the gradual improvement of the people's living standard. There are many old houses in the vast rural areas of China, which can not meet the requirements of human settlement environment comfort. Therefore, the author takes the rural residence in Qingdao as the research object, improves the spatial layout of typical residential courtyard and the plane space of single building, in order to improve the living comfort of rural residence.
