jismart2020008: Research on outdoor playground design for children based on risky Behaviors

Abstract

It is children's nature to take risks. Games based on risky behaviors are of great significance to children's physical and mental health. With the changes of the times and the progress of science and technology, the new generation of parents pay attention to the quality of children's activity space and the existing safety problems while attaching importance to education. The life track of preschool children mainly revolves around families, kindergartens and other outdoor places. High-quality outdoor venues are an important way for children to get close to nature and understand society before receiving compulsory education. Therefore, the interesting design and safety considerations of this kind of children's outdoor venues become particularly important, so as to avoid over-protection and negative impact on children's physical and mental health. Based on the theory of children's behavioral psychology, this project studies children's psychological needs and behavioral patterns from an objective point of view, and analyzes the significance of adventure elements for children and the characteristics of related activity spaces, hoping to provide a theoretical basis for the planning and design of children's outdoor activity venues in the future.
