jismart2020012: Correlation Analysis Between SVF and Microclimate of Traditional Residential Buildings in Central Shaanxi Region of China
Keywords:
traditional residential buildings, SVF, microclimateAbstract
The density of residential buildings is closely related to microclimate. Therefore, it is an important topic to study the correlation between sky view factor (SVF) and microclimate factors. To study the quantitative relationship between SVF and microclimate in traditional residential buildings, this paper chooses Changle Lane, Changle Square of Xi'an city, central Shaanxi region of China as the research object. Through ENVI-met software, wind speed and temperature data of different SVF at pedestrian height of 2.10 meters are obtained, and SPSS is used to establish a prediction model. Research shows that SVF is positively correlated with temperature while negatively correlated with average wind speed. Increasing SVF value in residential areas is beneficial to increase temperature and reduce wind speed. Boasting certain reference value for the spatial optimization design of traditional residential buildings, this research is also beneficial to deepen scholar’s understanding about related patterns of SVF and microclimate.
