This study aims to analyze the sustainability of coastal Joglo houses in Trimulyo Village, Juwana, Pati, focusing on material changes observed in the surveyed Joglo houses. The Joglo house, as an essential part of Javanese cultural heritage, has undergone transformations in terms of materials and design over time. The methods used in this research include field surveys and questionnaires distributed to Joglo house owners to identify material variety and their impact on the sustainability of the buildings. The findings reveal that there are three types of Joglo houses distributed across Trimulyo Village, such as: authentic Joglo house, hybrid Joglo house, and modern Joglo house. Each type reflects varying levels of material changes and adaptation to modern conditions, each with its own implications for the sustainability of traditional architecture in this coastal region. This research provides significant contributions to understanding the dynamics of Joglo architectural changes and lays the groundwork for further preservation and documentation efforts.
