Abstract

Translucent Concrete is a combination of a large number of optical fibers or resin fibers and concrete materials in a certain proportion. It is a revolutionary breakthrough compared to traditional concrete. Heat-absorbing and heat- insulating materials can be added to it, which has good light transmission and heat preservation. Thermal insulation and load-bearing performance, through the analysis of the practical application of translucent concrete materials in architectural design projects, mainly including its exploration in the construction of light and shadow space in architectural design, sight guidance, energy-saving design, and the transformation from envelope structure to load- bearing structure.
