Based on the team's existing building regeneration research foundation, the article constructs an existing residential regeneration diagnostic evaluation process from an architectural perspective, which is divided into three stages: data collection and integration, visual model construction and diagnostic evaluation analysis, and comprehensive application of building information modeling, etc. technology, conduct comprehensive assessment through qualitative and quantitative diagnosis, form a diagnostic assessment template, and apply the diagnostic assessment methods and processes based on cases to provide scientific guidance and decision-making direction for the practice of refined regeneration of existing residential buildings and the formulation of relevant standards and guidelines, improve the efficiency of decision-making, and have an advanced demonstration role and forward-lookingness.
