Abstract

In the past decades, urban development has focused on the development of "quantity", and a large number of modern residential land has been used for the construction of high-rise buildings. Due to the lack of effective protection and utilization, the historical residential houses have gradually become the "stain" of the city, and the internal condition of the houses is worrying. This study aims to explain the difference between the prototype and the status of residential buildings in Qingdao. Taking the former residence of Liang Shiqiu as an example, it compares the prototype with the status through investigation, measurement and drawing of architectural drawings, and expounds the reflection on the status of the protection of ancient residential buildings, so as to provide references for the historical tracing and restoration of residential buildings.
