Abstract

With the acceleration of urbanization and the continuous growth of residents' health needs, it is crucial to scientifically and reasonably plan the layout of medical space to improve the efficiency of medical services. This article takes Beijing hospitals as the research object and uses advanced tools such as ARCGIS and SPSS to systematically analyze the characteristics of hospital spatial distribution and its main influencing factors from the perspective of historical evolution. Research has revealed that the phenomenon of medical resource agglomeration has significant historical path dependence characteristics, which are jointly influenced by multiple factors such as urban development planning, optimization of transportation network system, and changes in population density gradient. The research results can provide spatial decision-making basis for optimizing the allocation of medical resources and have practical significance for promoting the accessibility of medical and health services.
