The government proposed a more age-friendly and livable living environment when it publicly released the "14th Five-Year Plan” for the development of the national aging program and the pension service system. At the same time, on the basis of the concept of “healthy ageing” put forward by the WHO, China has put forward a new concept of building a "proactive view of health”. There is a need to know the behavioral needs for senior activities and the differences in needs between them and the built environment of older communities. Therefore, it is important to remodel the environment of older communities. Based on the needs of elderly activities, this paper takes the community public space at the scale of daily activities as the research object. This study investigated the characteristics of daily activity behavior, activity venue needs and satisfaction among the elderly. This study captures the attributes of each element of the environment in older communities, including spatial scale, roadway system, recreational space and green space. As a result of the data analysis, key indicators affecting senior activity behavior and satisfaction with the environment in older communities, including transportation accessibility, activity functional richness, and spatial diversity.
