Abstract

Accelerated urbanization has led to increased energy demand and environmental pressure, and climate change poses a major challenge to the sustainable development of cities, making it an urgent task to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change. Renewable energy, as a clean and sustainable form of energy, plays an important role in reducing carbon emissions and combating climate change. Modular building façade design utilizing renewable energy can improve the energy efficiency of a building through the use of renewable energy technologies, such as the use of solar energy, in which light and heat radiated from the sun are captured and converted through various technologies for power generation, heating, and a variety of other uses. This design approach emphasizes sustainability and environmental protection and aims to reduce a building's dependence on natural resources, involves the integration of advanced energy harvesting and management technologies into the building façade to optimize energy use, and the modular design allows for flexibility and scalability, which can help the building to adapt to future energy demands and environmental changes.
