Keywords:
Mental Health, Costal Spaces, Blue SpacesAbstract
As public mental health issues become more prevalent, research has shown that coastal space is instrumental in alleviating physical and mental fatigue, reducing tension, and promoting emotional release. In this paper, we employ CiteSpace visual mapping software to analyze the content of the literature, identify research centers and frontiers, and organize pertinent research methods from a disciplinary perspective. The findings indicate that the primary research interests are blue space, nature exposure, and the restorative landscape. The research frontiers are primarily in virtual technology, multi-source data, and ecosystem services.2) Relevant research is typically more refined in terms of indicators and mechanisms, diversified in terms of technical approaches, and interactive in terms of disciplinary perspectives. 3) Disciplinary scope: During the early period, independent disciplines such as psychology, epidemiology, and environmental studies dominated the majority of international research. However, there has been a discernible trend toward cross-disciplinary research in recent years. This research has the potential to serve as a reference and source of assistance for the planning and theoretical exploration of related topics.
