jismart2024034: Study on the Evolution of Stage Characteristics of Qingdao Liyuan Facade

Abstract

The Liyuan building is a traditional residential building in Qingdao from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, which is a fusion of Western-style buildings and Chinese-style compounds, and has a characteristic regional character. This article takes the architectural facade of Qingdao Liyuan as the research object, and analyzes the morphology and evolution characteristics of the Liyuan architectural facade in different stages, such as the German Concession Period, the Japanese Occupation Period, and the period of the Beiyang National Government, by means of the literature research method and the current situation research method, so as to explain the development and change of the Liyuan architecture from the aspect of the architectural facade style characteristics. On this basis, according to the stage characteristics and design logic formed by the evolution of Liyuan building facade over time, it provides effective reference meaning and value for the subsequent restoration of the Liyuan.
