Abstract

With the revolution in the architectural field, the core objective of architectural education has shifted to fostering students' integrative thinking and innovative capabilities. By deeply analyzing the essence and requirements of architectural design, this study explores an architectural design course centered on students' integrative thinking. It integrates the concepts of integrative interaction and divergent collaboration into architectural design courses and specifically proposes the "1+N Unit-Based Integrated Design" teaching model and its implementation methods, offering fresh teaching ideas and practical pathways for architectural courses. These approaches can effectively enhance students' integrative thinking and innovative capabilities, while promoting the fusion of interdisciplinary knowledge and technologies. This educational model has the potential to cultivate professionals with comprehensive qualities for the architectural design field, driving the modernization of architectural education.
