JiSMART2021—008： Research On Preservation and Restoration Technology of Indoor Wooden Floor in Historic German Style Buildings in Qingdao

Abstract

Historic German style buildings in Qingdao are an integral part of the urban historical development of Qingdao. At present, the research results on the restoration of interior elements of historic German buildings are scattered, and academic research focuses more on the restoration of building facades. Even when it comes to the interior, it only introduces style formation and historical changes, with little systematic mention of wood floor restoration. The purpose of this section is to summarize and analyze the unique historical and artistic value of interior wooden floors in historic German style buildings in Qingdao. Field research on the deterioration of existing wood floors provides theoretical support for the selection of restoration technology of indoor wooden floors in historic buildings, and provides reference and decision-making basis for the formulation and implementation of some standards. Protection and restoration of later on wooden floor, identify valuable ground shop, by evaluating water invasion of pavement materials, stains and wear, the lack of material, decorative texture annihilation and other signs of degradation and source, can better protect the authenticity of the wooden floor, realize the German historical and artistic value of historic building, make its get sustainable reuse.
