JiSMART2021—011: Research on the Repairing Technology of External Wall Mortar of Historic Buildings in Qingdao

Abstract

Exterior wall mortar is a mortar layer with the function of decorating and protecting the exterior wall substrateof buildings. The historical mortar of historic buildings in Qingdao has been used for a long time, and the safetyand stability of the outer walls are poor. When the exterior wall is repaired, first reinforce the exterior wall, andthen redo the exterior wall mortar. Through the investigation of the previous historical data, the information of themortar was collected on the spot, and the mortar proportion, aggregate gradation, binder, etc. of the mortar weretested, so as to design, select, configure the repair mortar, and configure the exterior wall mortar close to thehistory. Then the construction is carried out according to the historical process, and finally the steps of data sorting,archiving and evaluation are carried out to improve the reconstruction of Qingdao's historic exterior wall, so as torealize the restoration of exterior wall mortar. According to the compatibility requirements of historic buildingrestoration, through the research on the early detection and later restoration process of historical mortar, itprovides a reference for the restoration of historic exterior walls in Qingdao.
